“As a designer, I have always been interested by how fabric can alter a person’s perception. The potential, on a daily basis, for people to reinvent themselves and by association their outlook on the world,â€Rebecca Torres.
R ebecca Torres, already a successful ready-to-wear brand, is launching its SS16 Swimwear collection at Mode City Paris (Booth G38) July 4 – 6, 2015 and the upcoming Lingerie Edit this July 9 – 10, 2015 at the Savoy Hotel in London.
The brand’s founder and namesake,Rebecca Torres, specializes in the use of luxurious sports led fabrics and is renowned for her ability to accentuate and empower the female form creating garments featuring enhanced fit, stretch and comfort.
Rebecca’s interest in how fabric can alter a person’s perception and the potential for people to re-invent themselves became a core influencing component of this lustrous swimwear collection, creating garments both in keeping with the Rebecca Torres signature aesthetic while incorporating new, visually arresting geometric prints.
About Katie Peachesa
Studying Fashion Design and Manufacturing at Cardonald College before going on to study Fashion Business at Caledonian University, Rebecca Torres is the founder and designer behind the self titled label.
With compliments from the likes of Vogue and a sell out collection on ASOS.com, it will come as no surprise that Rebecca has already designed ranges for many high street retailers as well as produced pieces for some of the UK’s top stylists and artists.
